Welcome A beacon of progressive spiritual thought in the high desert for over 40 years. About Us The Antelope Valley Unitarian Universalist Fellowship is an active group that welcomes diversity in our members. Adults meet Sundays at 11:00 AM, with RE for children held at the same time. Sermons are presented by members or guest speakers. Our services are often informal, allowing for discussion. From 10 to 30+ members attend each week. We currently have a professional UU Minister, Reverend Ricky Hoyt, speaking to us one Sunday a month. Mission Statement The Antelope Valley Unitarian Universalist Fellowship is a beacon of progressive spiritual thought embracing and celebrating the diversity of the human spirit. We nurture and strengthen each other as guided by the practice of the Principles we hold in common, and in doing so endeavor to improve ourselves, our relationships, our neighborhoods and our world. Activities In addition to Sunday Services, activities you will find at Antelope Valley Unitarian Universalist Fellowship include: A book discussion group, poetry writing group, drama group, potlucks held after services the first Sunday of each month, educational field trips and outdoor activities for children and adults and periodic discussion groups on current topics of interest and concern, as well as various ongoing social action endeavors. When there is a 5th Sunday in a month it is reserved for poetry reading instead of a sermon. We have an outstanding childrens program and welcome the entire family to join us!
